The choice comes down to what you are wanting to get out of the system. We’ve used both but have settled on Fedora KDE spin (workstation) and Fedora i3 spin (laptop) because of the overall stability (arch can be pretty stable as well) as the systems workflow is the same as most the servers we work with.

Some pain in Fedora
We think Gnome is the main DE for fedora… We’ve tried to like it, but that thing is half cook… need to download alot of packages so we can bring the taskbar anywhere we want. When you want dark mode, you need to download again a package… oh, you want live wallpaper? no problem download again. You want different menu button and look? Okay again another package then…
We think if we remember it correctly, we ended up Fedora about 1.5 GB of RAM on idle even without browser. Whereas KDE, dark mode, download additional plugins in our case live wallpaper, maybe different icon theme, and done….. idle ram usage 800 – 1000 mb ram depending on the video file for live wallpaper.
Arch has huge library software from AUR

Conclusion
We like both linux OS but Arch win us over with the AUR. That being said if arch died tomorrow we would be back to using Fedora. We like that it gets kernal releases quickly unlike the .deb based stuff, when on gnome the gnome and fedora (though if we go back it would be using KDE this time) release at close to the same time so you are always on the new one there as well, we like a lot of their pre-configured default choices like btrfs, pipewire and so on. Our desktop was running fedora for 3 years until I decided to change it about 6 months ago.
